I was born and raised in Merced, California, where I was introduced to firearms safety and hunting at a very young age. Growing up around responsible firearm ownership taught me the importance of discipline, safety, and respect for the tools we carry. At the age of 21, I began formal pistol training and obtained my CCW permit, which sparked a lifelong passion for defensive firearms training and personal protection.

By the age of 25, I started competing in pistol competitions and spent the next five years sharpening my skills through competition shooting. During that time, I had the opportunity to train with and compete against world champion shooters, experiences that pushed me to continually improve both mentally and physically behind the firearm.

I also spent 13 years working in the security industry as an Executive Protection Agent, where professionalism, awareness, and preparedness were critical every day. Throughout my career, I’ve trained with many highly respected firearms instructors and attended Executive Protection school to further expand my knowledge and capabilities. In addition to my security background, I worked for a Class III firearms manufacturer selling firearms to agencies across California, giving me valuable industry experience and insight into law enforcement and professional firearms applications

A dream of mine has always been to teach the knowledge I’ve acquired over the years both on and off the firing range. From everyday carry and defensive shooting to competing against some of the best shooters in the world, I’ve developed a deep passion for firearms training and education. One of my biggest goals is to pass that experience on to others while promoting safe, responsible firearm handling and training practices for shooters of all skill levels.
